“Baka med farfar” is a children´s TV show about a deaf girl trying different pastry recipes with her grandfather. The design is colourful and friendly and plays with the fantastic in everyday objects. Putting the grandfather and daughter in an adventurous sprint through vibrant cakes and utensils.
The characters needed to have a resemblance with a friendly recognisable style, yet engineered such that they would animate quickly.
The sequence was duly storyboarded and made into an animatic.
